Youth Mobilization

Organising youth-led peace walks, dialogues and regional solidarity forums across Uganda's diverse communities.

Uganda's peace is only as strong as the will of its young people to defend it. The VoP Youth Mobilization program organizes young Ugandans across communities, schools, religious institutions and cultural spaces to become active ambassadors of peace in their daily lives.

Key Activities

  • Peace walks and youth solidarity marches across Kampala and regional towns
  • Dialogue forums bringing together youth from different tribes, faiths and socio-economic backgrounds
  • Community sensitization campaigns in markets, trading centres and transport hubs
  • Coordination with local councils (LCs), RDCs and district leadership for grassroots engagement
  • Rapid response mobilization during periods of community tension or electoral cycles
Every young Ugandan who attends a VoP forum, joins a peace walk or shares a peace message in their community becomes a living bridge between division and unity.
