Support Network Development Agenda

Building the institutional, financial and human infrastructure that allows peacebuilding to continue and grow.

Individual effort cannot sustain national peace. The VoP Support Network Development Agenda builds the institutional, financial and human infrastructure that allows peacebuilding to continue through setbacks, electoral cycles and generational transitions. This program aligns VoP's work with Uganda's national development priorities, including the National Development Plan IV (NDP IV) and the Parish Development Model (PDM).

Key Activities

  • Building and formalizing VoP chapters at district and sub-county level
  • Partnerships with government ministries, local government authorities and national institutions
  • Resource mobilization for VoP's programs through grants, corporate partnerships and diaspora engagement
  • Volunteerism drives aligned with government development programs and PDM implementation
  • Capacity building for VoP leaders in project management, advocacy and peacebuilding methodology
A peace movement that cannot sustain itself cannot sustain peace. This program ensures VoP grows stronger, wider and more deeply rooted with every passing year.
