You cannot love what you do not know. The VoP Civic & Patriotic Education program ensures that Uganda's young people understand who they are as citizens, what their constitution guarantees them and what they owe to their nation and each other.
Key Activities
- Constitution literacy sessions in schools, universities and community centres
- Uganda history and heritage education celebrating Uganda's diversity as a national strength
- Patriotic forums aligned with national events such as Independence Day, Liberation Day and Martyrs' Day
- Digital civic education through VoP social media platforms, videos and infographics
- Collaboration with the National Curriculum Development Centre (NCDC) and youth-serving institutions
A patriot is not someone who agrees with everything it is someone who loves their country enough to engage with it honestly, improve it actively and protect it fiercely.
