Members

The Voices of Peace Movement is built by its members. Every Ugandan who joins VoP becomes part of a growing national network of peace ambassadors connected across districts, faiths, tribes and generations by one shared commitment: a peaceful, united Uganda.

Individual Members

Who qualifies: Any Ugandan youth aged 15–35 who believes in the mission of VoP and wishes to actively participate in the movement's activities.

  • Eligible to vote and stand in VoP chapter elections

How to Join

  1. Commitment to VoP's values of peace, patriotism and inclusivity
  2. Completion of VoP orientation session (online or in-person)
  3. Registration via the VoP membership form

Institutional Partners

Who qualifies: Schools, universities, faith-based organizations, community-based organizations (CBOs) and youth clubs that wish to align with VoP's mission and integrate peace education into their activities.

How to Join

  1. Active youth-serving mandate
  2. Formal letter of intent to partner with VoP
  3. Designation of an institutional focal point for coordination

Peace Champions

Who qualifies: Distinguished individuals including professionals, civic leaders, religious figures, traditional leaders and public figures who wish to use their platform and influence to amplify VoP's message and support the movement's growth.

  • Invited to headline VoP events, dialogues and national forums
  • Consultation on VoP strategy and key messaging

How to Join

  1. Demonstrated commitment to peace and national cohesion
  2. Nomination by VoP leadership or member recommendation
  3. Endorsement of VoP's Vision and Mission

Membership is free. The Voices of Peace Movement does not charge membership fees. VoP is a youth-powered movement funded by the commitment of its members and the generosity of its supporters. Joining is free. Building peace is priceless.
